Things that sit next to each other....objects that talk

I hate my digital camera.  I can never get a good shot.  I have no idea how to use it and then when I go to try and improve it on the computer it becomes worse still.  Anyway I think I need to take a step back and begin taking photographs again in a regular sense.  Film.  I stopped using film because of the cost.  I understand light and the way it responds to slide film so I think I need to bite the bullet and head back there.  I love the saturated quality you can achieve with colour on slide film.  I also love the chance for something to happen that is unplanned.  The accidents often tend to become the images I like the most.  There is something in that.  Perhaps I can bring the same quality to the objects I make.....
