Hello there
I haven't been on for a while, phew and heaps has happened since I last signed in. I have done a lot myself but also in New Zealand, Christchurch there has been an earthquake. A devastating one. I have friends and family there and am so lucky they are all safe. A great auction has started up and a whole bunch of artists have contributed work with 100% of the money raised going to help those affected by the earthquake! here is a link

For me the earthquake was terrifying, are my family ok???? what about my friends? the beautiful old buildings....what will my grandad do? what about the family hotel...historic! that collapsed? No work for my aunty now......old buildings devastated, lives disrupted, lives lost and loved ones missing. Mother nature can be so over powering, so complete, so final. Wellington was always supposed to have the 'big one'. Are we prepared? How prepared can we be? Humanity have spoken out amongst the carnage and I am so pleased to hear all the stories of people helping each other, communities and care from all over the world. So great that not everything is dark in the hardest of times. How strong and capable people can be!
